PIPE EXTENSION CONFIGURATIONS
The PIPE G2 -models can be configured for a versatile range of applications. They can be equipped with various extension socket options, ensuring an optimal cabling solution even for the most demanding requirements. In some cases, an extension socket may not be needed at all (A1), resulting in a simple and agile design. This also enables an IP rating as high as IP67. Alternatively, the PIPE G2 can be equipped with up to two fixed sockets (C2).
Below are listed three PIPE extension configurations and their most common variations.
WITHOUT EXTENSION SOCKET (IP66 / 67)
A PIPE G2 luminaire without a socket (A0) offers a lightweight, straightforward, and easy-to-handle design. Without a socket, the luminaire has a protection rating of minimum IP66, IP67 rating also possible on request.
Sockets at input end
The PIPE G2 can be equipped with a extension socket (B1) or with a fixed flanged socket (C1) installed alongside the power input cable. Placing both the power cable and the socket at the same end ensures a simplified structure, making maintenance easier.
Sockets at the opposite end
The PIPE G2 can also be equipped with a socket at the opposite end of the power cable. This can be done as through-wiring (A2) or by routing the cable externally to the extension socket (B2). It is even possible to install an extension socket at both ends of the lamp (C2)!
Socket options
The PIPE G2 can be equipped with almost any type of extension socket. The selection includes IP67-rated sockets and plugs, as well as SAFETY-series low-voltage sockets.
